NATIONAL PLAYERS PRAISE!

“If I can say only one thing about the National Players it is that you provide

maximum entertainment with minimum effort on our part.  If

all groups were as easy to work with as you have been, my job would be much,

much easier!”

- Ken Joyner, Public Relations Coordinator, Fort Valley State College

“I want to tell you how impressed I am by this year’s National Players:

everything was very well organized, the group was easy to work with, they

maintained a good professional relationship among themselves, and best of

all, the performances were superb!  I especially appreciated the

time that several of them took with our students to talk about their lives and their art.  It

was a real delight for me to be able to host them while they were here at St. Meinrad.”

- Rev. Edward Linton, OSB, St. Meinrad College

“The performance was truly an outstanding one with an

exceptional cast, versatile sets, and compelling music.  The

production was enchanting, just as the play itself is.”

- Dr. Lee Viccellio, Teacher, Springbrook High School

"Teachers who believe that theater connects their students with the past are aided by

the wondrous efforts of the National Players who, year after year, bring to

life the work of William Shakespeare and other playwrights."

- Michael D. D'Anna, Regional Director, Maryland Thespian Society

“We appreciated the pleasant demeanor of the cast as they interacted with

the students and the level of involvement they attempted with this very large

group.  The performance left the children chuckling and

anxious to read Shakespeare again and again.”

- SuHelen Myers, Teacher, West Middle School

“[We wanted] to let you know what a wonderful experience we had with

your company.  The students were excited, and their insights were

profound in light of them only being sophomores in high school.  This

profoundness was due in no small part to your wonderful presentation.

This is how learning should take place and what it should look like.

- Michael S. Magrogan, Department of English, Calvert Hall College

I knew immediately how much I enjoyed the performance,

and after meeting with my class today I understand how much it meant to them

as well.  Their questions were literate and informed, seeking more information

about the play's nuances and (I loved this part), giving me a chance to talk

about Shakespeare for 50 minutes. Yikes!

- Bob Hiles, Beth Tfiloh School
